3 AR6 Quantification
Status: Provisional (Sept ‘25’)
Report being analysed: United Nations, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC Sixth Assement Report (AR6)
Purpose and scope of the corpus quantification exercise: The purpose is to identify the significant properties of AR6 and catalogue these in a knowledge graph. The scope is determined by what is identified as significant properties and if it is possible to count the items given available resources or if they are necessary to the knowledge graph.
3.1 AR6 quantification - version 1.0 (manual count)
- A scoping literature review shows no comprehensive AR6 or IPCC Assement Reports quantification.
- We believe what has been collected is the first attempt at such measurement.
- An automated count will be carried out using TIB Grobi software in Q4 2025.
- Data sources and data collection will take place in a follow up report.

- the Synthesis Report (referred to as SYR)
- the 3 Working group reports (referred to as WGI, WGII, WGIII)
